Within sight of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia
west of Richmond, Shenandoah
Crossing is located in rolling hills of Virginias
wine region, minutes east of Charlottesville. Situated
on the colonial path that early colonists used to
explore the lands to the west, the Spotswood Trail
which passes by the resort commemorates the discovery
of the Shenandoah Valley by the Knights of the Golden
Horseshoe through Swift-Run Gap. Surrounded by history,
the resort is convenient to all the area has to offer,
with many amenities of its own. Complete with its own
18-hole championship golf course, riding stables and
a host of outdoor activities on site, there is plenty
to keep active guests amused. Accommodations are spacious
and range from log cabins with all the modern conveniences
to contemporary resort townhomes overlooking the woods
or the golf course. Within an hour of Richmond, the
resort is only minutes from three early presidential
homes including those of Thomas Jefferson, James Madison
and James Monroe. Take a walk in the woods, ride down
a horse trail, fish from a boat, lounge by the pool
or play a round at the golf course, it is all here
at Shenandoah Crossing. Please be aware that Shenandoah
Crossing reserves the right to require a minimum number
of nights stay during certain times of the year.
